One Device, Four Distinct Modes
Electra is ML-Star's targeted eye and facial-toning device, built around a contoured treatment head designed to maintain close contact with smaller facial areas — the eye contour, cheekbones, jawline, forehead, neck, and collarbone area. Rather than offering a single generic setting, Electra organizes its technology set — red, blue, amber, and infrared light, EMS stimulation, microcurrent, electroporation, controlled heating, targeted cooling, and optional vibration — into four dedicated modes: Anti-Age, Soothe, Revive, and Pure. Each mode is designed for a different part of a facial routine, with three adjustable intensity levels available across the device.
Anti-Age: Facial Toning Focus
Anti-Age is Electra's mode built around facial toning. It draws on the device's EMS stimulation and microcurrent technology to deliver a stimulating massage-style experience across the treatment areas, designed to support firmer-looking, more defined contours along the jawline, cheekbones, and eye contour. This mode runs for 3 minutes per session.
Soothe: Comfort-Focused Care
Soothe is designed around comfort. Using Electra's temperature-control features alongside its light and stimulation technologies, this mode is intended to support a calmer-looking complexion, making it a fitting choice for areas that feel sensitive or fatigued, such as the eye contour or forehead. Soothe also runs for a 3-minute session.
Revive: Radiance-Focused Care
Revive centers on renewed radiance. This mode is designed to bring Electra's light-based technologies into a routine focused on refreshing the look of the skin's surface, making it a natural fit for the cheekbones, forehead, and neck. Like Anti-Age and Soothe, Revive is a 3-minute mode.
Pure: Skin-Clarity Focus
Pure is Electra's dedicated skin-clarity mode. Designed for a shorter, more targeted session at 2 minutes, Pure is intended to support a clearer-looking complexion in areas prone to congestion or unevenness, integrating Electra's light and skincare-support technologies into a quicker step within a broader routine.
Building a Routine Around the Four Modes
Because Electra's contoured treatment head is designed for smaller, more precise areas — rather than the full face at once — many users choose to rotate between modes depending on the day or the area of focus: Anti-Age for toning-focused days, Soothe for sensitive or tired-feeling skin, Revive when radiance is the goal, and Pure when clarity is the priority. For a broader facial-care routine, Electra is designed to complement other ML-Star devices such as Antares, which brings a full-size treatment head and six modes to professional-style facial sequences, and Maia, a compact eyes-and-face device built around heat, EMS, and RF for on-the-go routines. Choosing the Right Mode for You
There is no single correct order for using Electra's four modes — the right choice depends on what a particular session is meant to address that day. Understanding what each mode is designed for makes it easier to build a routine that fits individual skin-care goals, whether that's a toning-focused session, a calming step, a radiance boost, or a quick clarity-focused pass.
