ML-STAR LIMITED LIFETIME AND STANDARD LIMITED WARRANTY
Coverage for eligible ML-Star devices, stated in full. This page is the complete and controlling statement of ML-Star warranty terms.
Coverage for eligible ML-Star devices, stated in full. This page is the complete and controlling statement of ML-Star warranty terms.
Eligible ML-Star devices purchased directly from ML-Star receive automatic Limited Lifetime Warranty coverage. Devices purchased from an Authorized Reseller must be registered within 30 days after delivery to activate Limited Lifetime coverage. Otherwise, the Standard Limited Warranty applies. Product schedules, exclusions and complete terms apply, and are stated in full below.
This document states the complete terms of the ML-Star Limited Lifetime Warranty and the ML-Star Standard Limited Warranty for eligible ML-Star devices sold in the United States. It applies only to the product, purchaser, transaction, use and warranty schedule described below.
This Warranty is separate from any return right, service contract, installation agreement, maintenance plan, commercial insurance policy, reseller promise or oral statement. No dealer, reseller, employee or other person may modify this Warranty unless ML-Star confirms the modification in a writing signed by an authorized representative.
“Authorized Reseller” means a seller that ML-Star has expressly authorized in writing to sell the covered ML-Star product at the time of sale.
“Covered Device” means an eligible ML-Star product identified by a valid serial number and proof of purchase, subject to Schedule A or Schedule B.
“Delivery Date” means the date the original purchaser receives the Covered Device, as shown by carrier records, signed delivery documentation or other reasonable evidence accepted by ML-Star.
“Effective Date” means November 14, 2025.
“Limited Lifetime Warranty” means coverage during the period in which the original purchaser continuously owns the Covered Device, subject to every term, exclusion and product-specific limitation in this document. Coverage ends immediately upon sale, gift, assignment, transfer or other change of ownership.
“Original Purchaser” means the first person or legal entity that purchased the Covered Device directly from ML-Star or from an Authorized Reseller for its own permitted use and not for unauthorized resale.
“Standard Limited Warranty” means the fixed-duration coverage described in the applicable schedule when Limited Lifetime coverage was not activated.
“Normal Wear” means deterioration expected from ordinary use, including cosmetic wear, finish changes, scratches, discoloration, seals, pads, straps, upholstery, filters, bulbs or emitters where designated as wear items, and other components identified in the user or maintenance materials as consumable or subject to periodic replacement.
Purchases made directly from ML-Star receive Limited Lifetime coverage automatically, provided the purchaser retains proof of purchase and the device is otherwise eligible.
Purchases made from an Authorized Reseller must be registered with ML-Star within 30 calendar days after the Delivery Date. Registration must include the purchaser’s contact information, product model, serial number, purchase date, reseller identity and proof of purchase.
Registration does not expand the scope of coverage. It establishes eligibility for the Limited Lifetime term. If an Authorized Reseller purchase is not registered within 30 days, the Standard Limited Warranty in the applicable schedule applies.
Purchases from unauthorized sellers, marketplaces or persons are not eligible for Limited Lifetime coverage unless ML-Star confirms eligibility in writing. Mandatory rights that cannot legally be excluded remain unaffected.
Subject to this document, ML-Star warrants that the Covered Device will be free from defects in materials and workmanship under normal, intended and properly maintained use during the applicable warranty period.
Covered service may include reasonable remote diagnosis, approved repair labor, replacement of a covered defective component, or another remedy selected by ML-Star under Section 10.
Coverage applies only to a defect that existed in the Covered Device or developed through ordinary intended use. It does not cover a performance preference, expected aging, a result not achieved, a business outcome, a clinical outcome, compatibility with unapproved products, or a condition caused by an excluded event.
Integrated principal components of the Covered Device are covered for the applicable main warranty term unless identified as Normal Wear or separately limited in the applicable schedule.
Rechargeable batteries, external power supplies, chargers and cables are covered against defects in materials and workmanship for one year from the Delivery Date, regardless of whether the main device has Limited Lifetime coverage.
Pouches, cosmetic covers, nonfunctional packaging and similar presentation items are covered only for defects or material damage existing at delivery and reported promptly after receipt.
Consumables, disposable items, routine-maintenance items and Normal Wear are not covered. Included manuals and user guides may be replaced electronically without charge when available.
The purchaser must use, clean, store, operate and maintain the Covered Device in accordance with the applicable user guide, safety instructions, contraindications, electrical specifications and maintenance requirements.
Warranty coverage may be denied only to the extent ML-Star reasonably determines that the claimed failure was caused or materially contributed to by omitted, inadequate or improper maintenance, installation, storage, cleaning, electrical supply, environmental conditions or operation.
Nothing in this Warranty requires a consumer to purchase a named brand of part or paid service from ML-Star to preserve coverage, except where a specific part or service is provided without charge or where a restriction is otherwise permitted by applicable law. A purchaser may use qualified service providers and appropriate parts, but damage caused by improper or unauthorized work is excluded.
Lumina installation, commissioning and on-site training are governed by the written order, delivery and installation documents. Site readiness, access, electrical capacity, ventilation and other facility conditions remain the purchaser’s responsibility unless ML-Star expressly agrees otherwise in writing.
This Warranty does not cover any loss, defect, failure, damage or expense caused by or resulting from: misuse; abuse; neglect; operation contrary to instructions; improper cleaning or maintenance; unauthorized alteration; improper repair or disassembly; use with incompatible or unapproved components; accident; impact; liquid intrusion; fire; flooding; natural disaster; power surge; unstable or unsuitable electrical supply; improper site conditions; excessive heat, humidity, dust or other environmental exposure; pests; theft; loss; cosmetic damage; Normal Wear; commercial use of a Home Device unless ML-Star approved that use in writing; use outside the intended purpose; shipping or handling not arranged or approved by ML-Star; failure to provide requested diagnostic information; or any event outside ML-Star’s reasonable control.
The Warranty does not cover removal or reinstallation of third-party structures, construction, electrical work, access equipment, rigging, storage, expedited freight, business interruption, lost revenue, substitute equipment, employee time, travel not preapproved by ML-Star, or other consequential expense unless mandatory law requires otherwise.
Safety information and contraindications are product-specific. The purchaser must review and follow the current approved user materials before use. The Warranty does not convert an ML-Star device into medical advice or guarantee suitability for a particular person or condition.
To request warranty service, contact sales@ml-star.com or call/text 561-321-9425. Provide the purchaser’s name and contact details, product model and serial number, proof of purchase, Delivery Date, reseller information where applicable, a detailed description of the issue, photos or video reasonably requested by ML-Star, and maintenance or installation records where relevant.
Do not ship a device or component without written return authorization and shipping instructions. Unapproved shipments may be refused or returned at the sender’s expense.
ML-Star targets acknowledgment within two business days. After receiving a complete claim file, ML-Star targets an initial response within ten business days. These are service targets, not guaranteed completion dates. Repair timing depends on diagnosis, access, parts, shipping, site conditions and other circumstances.
ML-Star may use remote troubleshooting, request photographs or video, inspect logs, require reasonable tests, arrange an authorized inspection, request return of a component or device, or inspect a professional system on site.
If testing shows no covered defect, or shows an excluded cause, ML-Star may charge reasonable diagnostic, travel, shipping, labor and repair costs after disclosing them to the purchaser. No noncovered paid repair will be performed without authorization.
For a valid covered claim, ML-Star will choose one of the following remedies: (a) repair the Covered Device or covered component; (b) replace it with the same model or a new, refurbished or remanufactured product or component of comparable functionality; or (c) provide a reasonable credit based on the original price paid, age, condition, use and remaining practical service life.
A full cash refund is not an automatic warranty remedy after delivery and use. Any refund required by mandatory law remains available.
Repaired or replacement products remain covered for the longer of the remaining original warranty period or 90 days. A replacement does not restart a new Limited Lifetime term.
The purchaser is initially responsible for following ML-Star’s shipping or inspection instructions. If ML-Star confirms a covered defect, ML-Star will pay or reimburse reasonable standard transportation approved in advance and will pay standard return transportation after covered service.
If the claim is not covered, the purchaser is responsible for shipping, freight, insurance, diagnostics, travel and repair costs.
For Lumina and other large systems, ML-Star may choose remote diagnosis, shipment of a component, an authorized on-site inspection, or another reasonable service method. The purchaser must not ship a large system without written instructions. Premium, expedited, after-hours, construction, rigging, storage and access costs are excluded unless ML-Star expressly approves them in writing.
If an identical product or component is unavailable, ML-Star may use a new, refurbished, remanufactured or functionally comparable replacement, or provide a reasonable credit under Section 10. Color, design, dimensions, controls, software, accessories or features may differ where the replacement provides reasonably comparable core functionality.
The purchaser must retain the invoice, receipt or written order confirmation. Authorized-reseller purchasers should also retain registration confirmation. Professional purchasers must retain installation, service and maintenance records relevant to the claimed condition.
Failure to provide reasonable proof may delay or prevent verification, but ML-Star may accept other reliable records in its discretion.
This Warranty applies to Covered Devices delivered and used in the United States. Coverage outside the United States requires prior written confirmation from ML-Star and may be subject to different logistics, costs, service methods and mandatory local law.
This Warranty Program applies to eligible Covered Devices delivered on or after November 14, 2025.
Eligible Covered Devices delivered between the Effective Date and the date this Warranty Program was first published online are included retroactively, subject to the eligibility requirements, exclusions, proof-of-purchase requirements and other terms stated in this Warranty Program.
Nothing in this Warranty Program reduces any warranty coverage, statutory right or other remedy that applied to a Covered Device at the time of its sale or delivery.
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, ANY IMPLIED WARRANTY, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY OR FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, IS LIMITED TO THE DURATION OF THE APPLICABLE WRITTEN WARRANTY. SOME STATES DO NOT ALLOW LIMITATIONS ON THE DURATION OF IMPLIED WARRANTIES, SO THIS LIMITATION MAY NOT APPLY.
This Warranty gives specific legal rights. The purchaser may also have other rights that vary by state. Nothing in this Warranty excludes a right or remedy that cannot lawfully be excluded.
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, ML-STAR IS NOT LIABLE UNDER THIS WARRANTY FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, EXEMPLARY, PUNITIVE OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES, INCLUDING LOST PROFITS, LOST REVENUE, LOSS OF USE, BUSINESS INTERRUPTION, SUBSTITUTE EQUIPMENT, LOSS OF DATA, OR THIRD-PARTY CLAIMS. SOME STATES DO NOT ALLOW CERTAIN EXCLUSIONS OR LIMITATIONS, SO THEY MAY NOT APPLY.
ML-STAR’S TOTAL LIABILITY ARISING FROM A WARRANTY CLAIM WILL NOT EXCEED THE ORIGINAL AMOUNT PAID TO ML-STAR OR THE AUTHORIZED RESELLER FOR THE COVERED DEVICE, EXCEPT WHERE APPLICABLE LAW REQUIRES OTHERWISE.
This Warranty is a contractual obligation of ML-Creative Group LLC. It is not an insurance policy and does not represent that any warranty claim, product failure, bodily-injury claim, property-damage claim or other loss will be covered by an insurer. Insurance coverage, if applicable, is determined exclusively under the terms, endorsements, exclusions, conditions, deductibles and limits of the applicable policy.
The Warranty concerns defects in materials and workmanship. It does not guarantee a health, aesthetic, therapeutic, clinical, financial, utilization, revenue or return-on-investment result. Product information is not medical advice and does not replace professional judgment, diagnosis or treatment.
The current warranty terms should be made available before purchase. A free printable or written copy is available by emailing sales@ml-star.com or calling/texting 561-321-9425. The purchaser may also download or print the online version.
ML-Star may update warranty terms prospectively. The terms applicable to a Covered Device are the terms in effect on its Delivery Date, unless a later change is more favorable to the purchaser or is accepted in writing. ML-Star will not reduce an accrued warranty right through a later website update.
This summary restates terms already stated above. Where a summary and the full terms differ, the full terms in Sections 1–21 and the applicable Schedule govern.
